Clear Path Utility Solutions orchestrates an integral, leadership role between construction companies and vegetation field services, providing advanced emergency and non-emergency response services to help utility companies assess, plan, and execute vegetation projects in the field. From construction management to emergency management, quality support and pre-inspections, Clear Path Vegetation Management experts provide hands-on consulting strategy, project management and quality control services to optimize emergency and non-emergency projects as they evolve.

Clear Path is currently seeking full time Certified Arborists to support our East Coast Vegetation Management Division throughout the Orlando FL area.

Our Arborists will be responsible for inspecting trees, flagging hazardous trees, and providing subject matter expert recommendations on tree management. Certified Arborists are ISA Certified (or similar) and TRAQ qualified and are trained and proficient in assessing the health of fire-damaged trees. Arborists, when not a part of a Hazard Tree Assessment Strike Team, may perform other tree assessment services.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Ensure SAFETY protocols are followed at all times
  • Perform tree inspections
  • Identify, flag, communicate all hazardous trees
  • Provide recommendations on tree management
  • Work with operational leaders
  • Manage and coordinate daily vegetation operations
  • Submit details and information to vegetation management leaders
  • Perform all other applicable duties to meet project deadlines and goals
  • Communicate effectively with clients, public, and team members.
  • Provide training and mentorship to less experienced staff members.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Authorized to work in the US
  • Certified Arborist through (ISA, ASCA or Certified or Degreed Forester)
  • Licensed, Registered and/or Certified in Vegetation Management, Forestry, or Arboriculture
  • Proficient with GIS Application experience (i.e., Arc Collector, Fulcrum)
  • Strong organizational/time management skills
  • Excellent communication both verbal and written with attention to detail.
  • Must be proficient in using technology including cell phone, tablet, apps, GPS, Microsoft Office Suite, and range finders.
  • Willingness to Travel
  • Ability to read and follow Maps
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work and hike in rugged terrain and in inclement weather
  • Ability to work long hours and on your feet for 50+ hours a week
  • Ability to respond to public concerns and questions about the work
  • Ability to respond and answer Contractor’s questions and concerns about work specifications and requirements.

Minimum:

  •  Five (5+) years Certified Arborist (i.e., International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), America Society of Consulting Arborist (ASCA), or certified or a degreed Forester)
  • Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ). Desired
  • Current CPR/First Aid/AED Card is a PLUS but not required
  • Proven experience as a professional arborist
  • Proficient in tree identification and diagnostic skills
  • Strong knowledge of safe work practices and procedures
  • Experience with tree care equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Excellent communication skills
